Our Team

Dr. Maniscalco’s professional team is both experienced and skilled. While each member is a professional in her own right, as a team they take friendly and courtesy to a new level. They know that the personal touch and your comfort are key to a successful dental experience... and they deliver.

Lori-Ann Medeiros is our office manager. She is a certified dental assistant. As our up-front person, she's the first to welcome you to our practice and to coordinate your treatment schedule. When it comes to questions regarding financial arrangements and insurance coverage, Lori-Ann is our resident expert. She loves interacting with all of our patients, whether they be new or old friends of Joseph Maniscalco, DDS.

Lori is a mom and is deeply embedded in the Arlington community. She enjoys volunteering at the Brackett and St. Agnes schools, and at church and town events.

Sara Gandhi, has over 10 years experience in dental hygiene. She earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex College where she ranked first for her clinical skills and was a recipient of the Phi-Theta Kappa Award. She also earned the Dean's Award from the Middlesex Chapter of Dental Hygiene. Skilled in periodontal disease, Sara is a solid asset to our practice.

In her free time, Sara enjoys cooking, gardening, sports and reading.

Bruna Silva is a dental assistant. Before joining our team, she worked two years at a dental practice that specialized in orthodontics. Bruna joined the Joseph Maniscalco, DDS team in February, 2010 to work in prosthodontics. She holds a Massachusetts Certificate in Radiology and studies English as a second language at Harvard University.

Bruna, who was born and raised in Brazil, Santa Catarina, came to the United States in 2006. Her friendly personality and compassion for others makes her a valuable member of our team.

Wendy A. Baron, RDH became a licensed dental hygienist in 1983. During her career, she has worked with some of the best periodontists and dentists in Massachusetts, perfecting her skills in the prevention of periodontal disease. She is passionate about this field and committed to educating people to understand that without regular and preventive dental care they may face life threatening diseases. Wendy is a people person who works hard to develop a trusting relationship with her patients, which she feels leads to a relaxed and enjoyable patient experience.

Wendy is a very busy person. In her free time, she is an image consultant, a dancer who has competed for over seven years and a dance teacher. She often walks "Stella" around Arlington — a Bichon Frise that she adopted from a shelter.
