Tooth Removals
Removing a tooth is not a decision that we make lightly. Factors that contribute to tooth extraction include a tooth that has significant decay or has been fractured. Some patients might have extra teeth that block others from coming in, and people going through an orthodontic procedure may need a tooth extracted to make room for replacement teeth. On occasion wisdom teeth must be removed. With our sedation techniques, your extraction will be painless.
Root Canals/Endodontics
If you have a tooth that is badly decayed or infected, a root canal may be the suggested treatment since without it, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and could become abscessed. Treatment involves removing the tooth’s nerve and pulp followed by cleaning the inside of the tooth and sealing it, usually with a crown.
